Types of Beetroots |
Beetroot is a wonderful vegetable, it contains BETIN an active substance which initiates menstrual bleeding in oligomenorrhic or amenorrhic females and it has diuretic properties too. Beetroot is eaten cooked and raw in both forms sush as in salads and curries respectively. Both the root and leaves are used in salads and curries. The use of beetroot in different diseases is as follows;
1. Baldness: Make a tea of beetroot leaves cool it down and wash your hair with this during the whole season of beetroot. Do this on daily basis, you will notice that your hairs are growing again. This is an excellent hair growth natural home remedy.
2. Skin fungus: Boil the beetroot pieces in water and vinegar and apply this solution on the scalp and other fungally affected areas of the skin. Take one litre water, one litre vinegar and half kilogram of beetroot. Boil this mixture under medium heat and take it off when the water and vinegar reduce to one fourth i.e. half a litre. Cool the solution and use it over fungus affected areas such as scalp dandruff and scales and fungus affected armpits and groin area. Apply it twice a day for a month.
3. Sexual Problems For Males And Females: Preserve the beetroot in natural honey after boiling the cut pieces of beetroot and keeping them in honey.
